Top 7 Ancient Warriors: Number 7

History has a way of spoiling movies.

The last couple of Top 7 lists have been of cartoon/anime kind, but for this group, I decided to list out the top seven groups of ancient warriors that I love the most (these folks are real, not imaginary). I majored in history and specialized in the ancient cultures of Greece and Rome, so this is going to be a really fun list for me. RIP Gene Wilder

Today the world lost a brilliant actor, comedian, and all around great guy in Gene Wilder. The star of so many famous movies like Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka, and so many others, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family (per the reports). Wilder was an incredible person and is being remembered by so many. I recall seeing Blazing Saddles for the first time and Wilder, as Jim aka the Waco Kid, waking up as the drunk guy in the prison cell with the hilarious past. I recall that money and remember so many of the quotes from it. Wilder and Mel Brooks put together so many great films that this little blog can’t do them justice. RIP Mr. Wilder.

For years, fans have been able to log on and read the latest chapter of Bleach on Thursday morning after the translation folks did their brilliant and speedy work, but now, we have nothing. The series is over and I feel a certain void, I won’t lie. I love this series and its over and now I find myself logging onto Manga Stream and having to remind myself that its over. Sigh, we can always pray for a spinoff, right?
