With a long week ahead at work on the road, I’m taking a week or so break from this blog. It will return, but for now, just taking a short break so I can focus in and get the job done. Stay around, I will be back, and appreciate the readers for hanging around for a while. Be back soon!
Next on the countdown transformed one of the most iconic games in the Nintendo franchise. Now, Super Mario came to its loyal fans in 3D and man, what a game it was. This is a classic. Continue reading
Memories, scary, scary memories. The number 5 game on my list is one that puts weapons, dinosaurs, aliens, and a crazy story line all together. Welcome to Turok 2: Seeds of Evil. Continue reading
Unless you live under a rock, you know about this incredible hurricane off the east coast that is headed towards Florida. I wanted to post this quick blog as a note/message to folks on the east coast of Florida. Get to shelter or gear up because this storm is a monster. The storm is still a category three and could get even stronger before tonight. The entire east coast is under threat and the Governor (as much as I hate him) has put all the resources imaginable into position, but folks need to take this serious. This is not a hurricane party, this is safety.
I have family in Volusia and Orange counties so I am very concerned for them and I know many here in the Bay area are the same. This storm is crazy and a lot of folks are coming this way to escape it. For an example, I went onto Expedia and searched hotels in the area for the weekend and page after page had they were all sold out. I have never seen that before, but it just shows you they type of impact this storm is having. Evacuate, hunker down and stay safe out there!
Season two of Fear the Walking Dead wrapped on Sunday with two episodes “Wrath” and “North” as the season ended as well as a few plot lines as well. Here are my thoughts on the characters. Continue reading
Ah, finally some travel stuff! Here is the first flight matrix that I have put together in regards to the price of flying to Japan (round trip). The totals are based on a November 9th to November 19th model that would create a 10-day trip. The prices are right from the three airlines websites, Delta, American Airlines, and United Airlines. The prices are based on this year’s prices, so I know things will change, but the prices for each flight have been rounded up just a bit to get some even numbers. Sorry you have to open a new link to get it to work!
So, I learned a few things with this first flight matrix (note that hotels have not been added because that’s the next stage of the trip). I learned that Delta flights to Osaka are simply insane and most of the flights (no matter which airport you fly out of) to Osaka are fairly steep when compared to Tokyo. Some of the cheaper flights from United Airlines are misleading because it would take 3 days (!!) to get to Japan. So, there is a fine line between costs and time it takes to get there. The next matrix is going to be a lot more intense when comparing the travel sites together and what they offer.
Next on the countdown is one of my favorite battle games from the entire console’s history. I mean, tanks, weapons, and just all out war around the world, what more could you ask for? Continue reading
