Number two on the list is regarded by many as the greatest game ever made for the console. It’s one of my favorites and comes in number two on the list (you’ll see why number one got to where it’s at very soon). Hello, Mr. Bond.
#2 GoldenEye 007
GoldenEye 007 is still one of the greatest games ever made on any console that has ever been made. Released in 1997, 007 follows the story of James Bond, the Pierce Brosnan version (one my favorite versions of Bond), as he begins a quest to take down the bad guys, battling across Russia with all sorts of weapons as only 007 can do. It is not often that a movie can be put into a video game, but this one was perfect and was probably one of the best first person shooters around with all of the game play and abilities the user could use. It is still considered among the best of all time despite the age of the game now.
This game was so much fun, despite some of the tough missions that required stealth or started with Bond with no weapons. The game was even more fun with multiplayer and having a ton of friends battling it out with some of the best weapons like the dual RCP 90, which was one of the most insane machine guns to ever get into a game, or with some of the worst guns in the game like the Klob. No, hold on a second, I have to vent for a second. The Klob is one of the worst things to ever be in a game. Ugh, I hate that gun because a blind man stabbing in a dark room would have greater accuracy than that excuse of a gun would ever have.
Anyways, this game was a ton of fun and was one of the best in the console’s entire history. The number one on the list though is still one of my favorite games of all time and edges out this legendary one.
