TBT: The Fast and the Furious

Image result for the fast and the furious

The newest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise came out last week, The Fate of the Furious. It has been getting great reviews and its something I’ll probably go see because I love the movies, but it made me think about the original, The Fast and the Furious.

The original movie with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel opened up in theaters back in 2001, 16 years ago. The first movie had the Supra dragging down the street as Jordana Brewster watched. The original movie was all about the underground world of drag racing and working for a crime family. It’s crazy to look back at the first movie when Honda Civics were being used to rob VCRs out of a truck compared to the insane action scenes we have today. I mean, The Rock is being chased by a nuclear sub in the new movie, yeah, we have come a long way from the first movie.

Top 10 Minor Walking Dead Characters Lost: Number 1

Here we are, the top minor character in The Walking Dead series that we have lost during the history of the series. While I could have easily put Dr. Edwin Jenner here, the character holding the top spot changed the course of history for his group and the direction the series would take. Here is number one, Otis.  Continue reading

Top 10 Minor Walking Dead Characters Lost: Number 2

The top two on my list where really hard to pick. This one could have been on the top of the list, but instead, he sits here at number two. Say a quick hello to one of the lone doctors we have seen in The Walking Dead universe and one of the few that ever knew what the virus was, the last man at the CDC, Dr. Edwin Jenner.  Continue reading

Manic Monday: Lunch

Image result for lunch at work

So this is going to be a random Manic Monday blog because I am reaching out to those who work the 8 to 5 life and grind through each day. I want to ask, what do you take for lunch on a daily basis?

I have tried taking salads in with cut up lunch meat before (not just iceberg lettuce, mixed greens and such), but those are not filling at all and quite honestly, don’t taste that great without a lot of dressing. It’s simple to make, but not that great. I have tried to make basic sandwiches, but honestly, they burn out fast and not being able to get a bag of chips that is decent size at the grocery store is flat out annoying.

So throwing it out to social media and fellow bloggers, what kind of lunch do you throw together? I want to keep the budget in check but also pack something that is decent during the week, so all suggestions are all welcomed.

This is a very random blog and not the norm of the Monday blogs, but I wanted to ask the internet for an answer (This should be interesting).

Change Coming to The Sports Corner

The Sports Corner blog is going to be changing it up this week. All of the USF material is moving back to The Bull Rush site. I know, I can’t help myself no matter how hard I try. So what will become of the Sports Corner, well, it will simply just adjust a bit.

Let’s be honest, my care for the Bucs and Magic are very limited. There is enough Bucs talk on the internet and the Magic are just so bad I could care less. With that said, my second favorite team will be taking over for the Sports Blog, renaming it the Rays Corner. The blog will continue to be twice a week, Monday and Friday, and will simply recap the week in Rays baseball and will continue to talk about Durham since it seems half their roster is already now here in the big leagues. It’s a slight change, but the blog will remain on its usual schedule.
