Hello blog readers, as I stated a few times last week, I am changing things up for this blog and well, it’s time to make a move. I am moving all of the writing over to a new platform, starting fresh. It is titled: Matt of Mind.
If you enjoy the blog and all of the randomness of it, please follow, like, and subscribe to the new blog platform. I wanted to get a fresh start for my writing and instead of tweaking this blog and spinning my wheels on what to do, I simply decided on a fresh start. So please, follow the other blog and thanks for always reading!
I started to do daily blogs a while back but after 40 or so of them, I’m calling it quits on them. Its not that I don’t enjoy the blogs, its just become a little time consuming. I find myself settling down for the evening and remembering I didn’t put together a blog for that day or sitting at the computer with nothing interesting to talk about. So I’m calling it quits on the daily blogs. I will continue to post other blogs aside from my sports talk and quite frankly I need to get back to the other blog stuff because the page is sports heavy. I just lost the motivation for the daily blogs and they simply were getting a lot of traffic. People didn’t really care for boring blogs, so don’t expect them to return at any rate.
Next in my countdown is a very strange shinigami in the series, 5th seat of squad 11 Yumichika Ayasegawa. In the squad known for brutal fighters and rugged looking people, Yumichika is different (for many reasons). Continue reading
I’ve been putting off some major projects for the blog and in my life over the past month or so and am taking this week to get going on a lot of them. I have a ton of USF projects I want to work on and I’m using this week to get them all in line and get the material flowing. A lot of teams begins their seasons in about two months and its a massive amount of work to do and I can’t sit back anymore. Then I come back to the old Japan trip thing. I always seem to get started then get derailed or just put it off each day. There really are no excuses for that kind of thing and I need to get more serious on everything. So I’m taking a deep breath and going to get to work on these projects that are all sitting on my desk. I hope to get a lot of work done and hopefully there will be a lot of great things coming to the blog in the near future.
Happy 4th of July, everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday during this great 3-day weekend. Fire up the grills, jump into the pool, and pop a few cold ones, but don’t forget why we celebrate this day. It’s the day our country declared its independence and we are able to enjoy the liberties and freedoms we hold so dear everyday. So pause for a moment from your festivities and just remember why you are able to grill and drink a beer while watching a baseball game on the TV. Its a great day and I hope everyone has a great one out there.
Say hello to a 3-day weekend! It’s the 4th of the July weekend and its going to be a great one. 3 days off from work, time to rest, relax and just enjoy myself. I’ve got a lot headed my way when it comes to both the blog and with work, so this three day weekend is just what I needed to rest up and prepare. I’ll still be some blogging and doing work for my little site, but aside from that, I won’t be doing too much and I’m so happy about that. These three day weekends are rare so this one will not go to waste for me. So sorry the daily blog is very short today and there is not much to it, but its time to kick back and not work so hard.
After 366 episodes, I have finally come to the end of the Bleach anime series. While the manga continues (and I play catch up to read them all), the anime is now over (no new episodes since 2012) and its kind of sad. Continue reading
